History

In 1932, Jonas Lundhag started making shoes and hiking boots in a small shoemaker's workshop in Jämtland, Sweden. Since the end of the 90s, Ludhags has also been producing outdoor clothing for the most demanding users. Especially in the field of trousers Ludhags sets standards. Making trousers for all conditions requires special care. Not only in the production, but also in the choice of materials. Over the years, the Swedish company has developed what is now the trademark of Lundhags trousers: good fit, specially developed fabrics, robust material and yarns of the highest quality.

Trousers for every season and everyone

Lundhags offers three different categories of pants: Solid, Hybrid and Waterproof. They all have different features and qualities - for different people, activities and seasons.

Solid trousers
Trousers in Lundhags PolyCotton are versatile, durable and more breathable than trousers in denser fabric. The fabric has a soft texture that feels comfortable against the skin or underwear, whether it's warm or cold.

Hybrid pants
Lundhags PolyCotton - which is breathable and not waterproof - combined with 3-layer and stretch fabric. The combination of materials makes the pants waterproof exactly where it's really needed - on the knees, seat, front thighs and leg cuffs. And the stretch sections provide more freedom of movement in exactly the right places. Together, the different materials of the hybrid models form a perfect symbiosis of waterproofness, water vapour permeability and stretch function.

Waterproof trousers
For its waterproof trousers, Lundhags relies on 2- or 3-layer technology. And if you dress according to the layer principle, you are equipped for all weathers - from torrential rain to cold, wet snow.

Lasting durability

Outdoor product manufacturers can contribute to sustainable development of the environment in many ways. Lundhags products are therefore the exact opposite of the throwaway mentality. Durability is often not cheap. Because durability is directly related to quality. With regard to the lifespan of the products, they should therefore be seen as an investment with a positive long-term return. Together, everyone benefits from durability! Of course, any manufacturing process means some environmental impact, no matter what you make. So too in the case of Lundhags, although you do everything you can to minimise the environmental impact. However, it is not easy to construct a garment that is waterproof and has good ventilation at the same time, without chemical external treatment. However, efforts are being made to implement the exterior treatments without fluorocarbons - which are harmful to the environment and living organisms.
