The contact surface of the backpack on the back is therefore 25% smaller than with previous carrying systems and reduces body contact without compromising load control. The built-in ventilation system with breathable material improves air circulation on the back and reduces the temperature by 1.6°C degrees after just 15 minutes. The split shoulder straps also reduce body contact for faster moisture wicking, greater comfort, better air circulation and freedom of movement. It also has easily accessible mesh side pockets, a rain cover, a separate bottom compartment and attachment options for poles.
