Tatonka Folder RFID B wallet

The Tatonka Folder RFID B is a wallet with integrated RFID readout protection. In the wallet, which is opened with via a Velcro closure, three bank or credit cards find space. For the ID card there is a separate compartment with viewing window. The change pocket with zipper is incorporated inside the wallet. The bill compartment has an additional zipper so that not everyone immediately sees the bills in the wallet. The built-in CRYPTALLOY® film blocks all frequencies used for data readout. Thus, the data on your cards and ID are safe from data theft by RFID readers.

Additional information Protection against contactless data theft by radio (RFID/NFC): The installation of radio chips (RFID/NFC) in credit and EC cards, ID cards, tickets and access cards has become standard. Data is read contactlessly by readers using near-field technology, which of course also opens the door to misuse, as RFID readers can be easily procured. Therefore, to protect against data theft, it is nowadays more than sensible to store IDs and cards in readout-protected sleeves, bags or similar Tatonka uses a CRYPTALLOY® film in all its RFID block products. This offers maximum shielding on all relevant RFID frequency ranges (from 100 kHz to 4 GHz, i.e. low frequency range, high frequency range and ultra high frequency range). In addition, the protective foil interferes with "radio traffic" by shifting the frequency. The functionality of the CRYPTALLOY® film has been tested and certified by TÜV Saarland. The manufacturer of the film, the company Kryptonics Technologies Munich, has confirmed and certified Tatonka the prescribed processing of the film in all RFID block products.
