Attache Bar Carabiner
The Attache Bar carabiner from Petzl is a pear-shaped carabiner with a screwgate that puts an end to rotating carabiners. Versatile in use, especially in combination with the removable BAR gate. The BAR bar makes the carabiner unidirectional and thus increases the load in the longitudinal axis, which increases comfort when belaying or roping up on a glacier.
The H-profile reduces weight and the round cross-section facilitates belaying with VERSO, REVERSO or half-mast throw. The Keylock carabiner prevents accidental snagging, and the risk of operating errors is further reduced by the BAR bail.
