Brunner International Gas Reg D 30

The Brunner Gas Reg D low-pressure gas regulator is a regulating device that is mounted between a German gas cylinder (up to 14 kg) and the end appliance, e.g. a grill or stove, to provide the optimum pressure for the end appliance. Without a gas regulator, the grill or stove would be exposed to excessive gas pressure and suffer from fluctuations, as the pressure regulator simultaneously ensures a constant millibar value. Through a valve with diaphragm and spring, the pressure coming from the gas cylinder is regulated. When the pressure rises, the valve closes and the gas pressure is lowered. If, on the other hand, the pressure drops, the cross-section of the valve increases and more gas can flow through again. For gas-powered appliances, there are only two versions of a pressure regulator - 30 mbar or 50 mbar. The nameplate of the gas appliance will tell you which pressure regulator is intended for it. The gas regulator should be replaced regularly, about every two years, as wear of the valve cannot be avoided.
