The Boulder 2 from Robens is a Trekking Tent for 2 people. In this model, the inner tent is pitched first. The classic dome design allows the tent to be freestanding. To make the most of the space in the inner tent, the inner tent is attached to the ridge pole in the middle. This way, the side walls are steeper and more headroom is achieved. When the outer tent is then placed over the standing construction, the ridge pole provides 2 vestibules on the sides of the entrances

Flexibility and storage space

The 2 entrances make the Boulder 2 absolutely flexible in use. If you are traveling as a couple, each can get out of - or into - the tent on one side without having to crawl over each other. The flysheet creates 2 large vestibules that can be used for storage or cooking in bad weather. If you're traveling alone, you can use one side entirely for storage and use the 2nd entrance for yourself
