Lowe alpine
Lowe alpine Manufacturer information
Lowe Alpine ® takes its name from the Lowe brothers, the founders of the brand. Greg Lowe, along with Mike and Jeff are a family of mountaineers and mountain enthusiasts from Utah, USA.
From 1967...
In 1967, Greg needed a better backpack for his climbing trips. The brothers were traveling on new routes in the USA. On the rocks in the summer and on snow and ice in the winter. This required a new kind of backpack. One that moved with the body and didn't feel like a burden. In 1967, mountaineer Greg Lowe had a groundbreaking idea: he created the framed backpack.
To this day...
Today, Lowe Alpine is one of the world's leading outdoor outfitters. The technically sophisticated backpacks with the APS 7 back system, the spacious panniers and the optimised strap systems are standard equipment on every trekking tour. But also mountain bikers, cross-country runners and canoeists rely on the innovative bags, hip bags and other products of the American company.
