Exped Manufacturer information

In 1983 Heidi and Andi Brun founded Exped AG together and took over the representation of well-known outdoor brands. In 1997, Exped launched its first own outdoor products, which are now offered in 23 countries.

Basic idea

The maximum nature experience with minimal means. Nature with all its fascinating elements can be experienced most impressively if you are only on the move with the really necessary, yet functionally well thought-out equipment. Following the principle "less is more", Exped AG develops equipment whose design and extras are one hundred percent tailored to use in nature. Sophisticated details increase the functionality and comfort of the products using the minimum of resources.

Mission

To develop high-performance outdoor equipment that enables unrestricted experiences in nature - whether in the nearest forest, in tropical landscapes, in the highest mountains or on challenging waters: for trekking, mountaineering, hiking and globetrotting. Sustainability

The products should last as long as possible, ideally you should be able to pass them on. The basic prerequisite for this is the highest quality components, which, if possible, are also ecological. Finding the best balance here means constantly researching and using more sustainable alternatives. Standards such as Bluesign, Ökotex etc. are met in many components and products.
