The Chainsen Pro XT spikes from snowline are the perfect solution to have a good grip on icy surfaces. They are flexible dodders that can be pulled over any winter boot and they have spikes on the toe of the shoe for extra traction. The sturdy but flexible plastic ring keeps the spikes in place. This makes them just as suitable in the city when the snow cover is closed as they are for hiking, mountain walking or forest work. However, they do not replace full-fledged crampons.
